A verdict of accidental doath was returned at Romford at an inquest on Henry Frostick, who l lived for three days with a broken neck. Ho met with a driving accident, and it was found that his neck was broken, An operation was performed for the removal of a bono which .was pressing on the spinal cord, and hn appeared to be, recovering, but ho died suddenly two days later, a post-mor-tem showing that tho immediate cause of death was pnemnonia. Tho coroner asked whethor, if it had not been for the pneumonia, deceased might havo recovored, and tho doctor said such eases had been known to recover. A juror remarked that ho knew a case where a man lived three years wiiK a broken neck.
