Y.M.C.A. BOYS' DEPARTMENT.

A ping-pong tournament for the junior members of tho boys' department was held in the Y.31.C.A.. rooms on Friday. , evening, where about lorty boys were gathered to watch the competitors. The final was fought out between Harold Worboys arid George Bates, and after a very exciting finish.the former proved victorious by 30—27, thus carrying off the trophy, which was presented by Mr. Tom Plant, : tho social leader of tho boys' department. ■ -At present the boys are conducting a membership campaign. The present members have been divided into two teams, red and blue, and there is groat rivalry, between tho two as .to which tatni can bring in the most members by Saturday week. Special trophies will be given- to the.boys bringing in tho most members. : ;
