“PENGUIN” DISASTER.
The 'secretary of tho Penguin Fund states that a number of lists have been signed by him authorising certain ladies (who have interested ttlemselves in the matter, and requested the privilege) to make collections in order that some attention may be paid to the graves of the-sailors, etc., who were lost in the * Penguin disaster. . Amongst- tho ladies who took up this work were: Mrs. Lyons, the Misses Lyons (2), Mrs. Craig, and Miss Dixon. It is understood that Mrs. Craig's list shows a substantial amount, -some ,£2O. Mrs. Lyons has handed in the amount she has collected (X 9 17s. 6d.), and Miss Lyons (=£2 125.) to tho secretary. ■ - ,
