The court martial appointed by tho Turkish Government to inquire into tile Adana massacres censures the local authorities. Fifteen have already been hanged. Tho court marital, in its report, adds that 800 others deserve death, 1500 deserve hard labour fkr life, and 80,000 are justly entitled to minor sentences. The report concludes: "If it is decided to proceed with the punishment, we will draw a' cordon round tie town and deal with offenders expeditiously; but, in view of the general reconciliation, we irecommend an amnesty." .
