Buyers were represented in • large numbers, and the majority of the cows went to purchasers from outside the district. Thirteen' backward calving grade Jersey - heifers ■' sold at prices up to .£7 10s., averaging £i 9s. 6d. for tne line. Breeding sows, .£3 15s. to .£5 155.: store pigs, 235. j Yorkshire boar, .£2: We also' ottered nine cows on account, of another client which sold at from £A 2s.'6d. to .£B.
