SACRED CONCERT.

At tho-Kent Terrace' Presbyterian' Church last evening,'a eacred cdncort in aid of the building-fund of "the Sunday School was given by the choir., The choral numbers in-cluded-tho anthems: "Great is the Lord," "Seek ye the Lord," ; and "To Thee Great Lord." Other concerted items were the quartets "Cast Thy Burden," and "Art Thou Weary.!' The soloists';of the evening were: Miss M'Donald, Messrs. Gondii (bass)j- Porteous (bass), and M'Dowall.(tenor), and Mr. M. 0. Meadows, L.A.B.', organist and choirmaster." Miss M'Donald -sang "Nearer, My God to.Thee"; Mr. Goudie's items were the' aria from Mendolssohn's "Elijah; , - , "Lord God of Abraham," and the sacred: solo "Bohold. LStand at the Door." The.item selected by Mx. Porteous was the aria "If All Your Hoarte," M'Dowall sang "Calvary." Messrs..Porteoua and- Goudie were also associated in the duet "Watchman, What of .the Night.; 1 , Mr, -M v 0. Meadows contributed three'organ' selections, "Spring Song" .(Tolhurgt), "Grand Choeur!' chant)," and "Meditations in a Cathedral."
