Last■ night a .good audience.: assembled at the Seamen'B Institute, when Mr.;JV'Moore, Missidner, gave his: weokly ! hints, on. First Aid and Ambulance work. Mr. Moore dealt chiefly with demonstrations of bandaging, Board of Trade examination, colour blindness, and blood: poisoning eases. Tbo musical arrangements wero, in the hands: 'of Miss Lawsou) who gave a bright concert, k_ which tho following'..contributed':—Songs, by Missbs Newman, and;Whyto; duet, by Mr. and Mrs. Cattanach; song, by Mr. Cattanach; and recitation by Mies Dix. Miss Dale.' played the accompaniments., In tho oompetitioii connected with First Aid,, tho priaes went to the sailors from ships in port. Tlie performers were accorded a hearty-vote of thanks. ;.
