PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES. ; A FIRST-AID DEMONSTRATION. ■ The annual meoting of tap Wellington Centre of tho St. John Ambulance Association was held in the Municipal Concert Hall last evening; ' The.Mayor (Dr, : A..,K. " There they deposited him on abed, and.a party of .uniformed nurses,,-wear-ing ambulance' badges,.took off the .triangular first, aid bandages, arid put on .roller haulages in .'their stead,, .and..-otherwise;:-minis-tered' to the ."sufferer's" comfort. The method iif changing the sheets .without disturbing.the patient: was then shown ;by tho nurses. .-Two small boys .were also, bandaged in .realistic fashion; : and'marched-around the hall. ■"A nurse, who v.can bandage well,is an untold blessing to ; a.-patient with a fractured limb," remarked,the chairman.
