The Consultative Committee of tho Board of Education reports that the lack of continued secondary education is among the chief causes of national unemployment. ' Tho committee suggests that local authorities should bo compelled to provido con* tinuation classes, that employers should bo obliged to concede time, and that the school age should bo raised lo fifteen.
