BOMB IN' ENGLISHMAN'S HOUSE IN SICILY. • (By Telegraph.—Press AsaociaUon.-OdDjrrlchO' Romo, July 12/ A bomb was thrown by the Mafia secret society into the residence of Mr. Whitaker, in Palermo, Sicily, where King Edward, Queen Alexandra, and the Dowager-Empress of Russia were lately entertained during their yachting cruiso in the Mediterranean. The bomb fortunately exploded without doing any damage. Mr. Whitakor had refused to pay blackmail to the Mafia.
