Rix-Trott, and Mcason and Merchant), is Mr. R. L. Mestayor. Mr. and Mrs.'Charles H. Eastlakfl arrived by tho Athenic yesterday, with tho intention of romaininjj in New Zealaikl until the end of tho year. Both are artists of note, Mr. Eastlakc tains a successful Enslieh landscape painter, while his wife specialises in portraits and figures. Works by both artists havo been hung at the Royal Academy nnd tho Paris Salon. Mrs. Eaetlake is a Bister of Dr. Bell, tho New Zealand Government Geologist.
