The roofing has been done with Marseilles tiles, , ■ out of which rises an ornamented tower 50ft. high, which'concMils the ; chimney of the furnace. - The.front portion of the building comprises the chapel, the dimensions of which'are 28ft'. by 18ft. The criapel has walls of pointed l brick and panelled ' ceiling . Behind : the chapel' is the cremating *. chamber, , : which-is 24ft. x-15ft. The finishing-work is "still-being'done on , the furnace, but it . is . anticipated that another two weeks will see this work completed, after whiclr'the. furnace will havo to be allowed to dry ' ; 'for-. several weeks ; before . it,'can be put t-o -use. It' is ' understood . ... that ;the caretaker; of ; the cemetery will havo chargo of the crematorium, . which will, not require an export to supervise its work.
