Henry Bodloy, contractor, for a breach of tho Dnvors' Award, was fined £5. Two carters, for accepting Bs. per day instead of £2 Bs. Cd. per wook. were each fined £2. William Wardi building contractor, was fined- £5 for brouch of tho Drivers' Award, and £10 for bleach of tho Carpenters' Award. Tile Union Steam Ship Company was fined £6 for breach. of tho Wharf Labourers' and Stevedores' Award, in engaging, labour at other than tho propor place, .and six men.were fined 10s. each for accepting work from tho company at a wrong place. ■ _'. .'■ •.. ' The Union Company was charged'with paying for'l J ..hours' overtime, when two hours should hiiVe been v paid for. It .was shown that tho icompan.y ha,d. in the first instance, misread tho award, but bad 'subsequently paid tho propor amount. Judgment was given for tho defendant company.
