The Mayor (Mr. John Barr), and Councillors Ross, Organ, Foley, and Russell. ■.-■■■■' ' ■'■•■.. •: The /first resolution, moved 'by Councillor Organ, : seconded by Councillor Ross, and adopted, was as follows:— ,"That, by. virtue of the provisions of Section 7? of the Municipal Corporations Act 1908, and Section ii of the Rating Act, .IOOS* the council. hereby makes for the year commencing April 1, 1909, and ending March 31 1910, a general rate of ljd. in the'«£ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Eastbourne Borough District, and a Hospitnl and Charitable Aid rato of 9-GW. in the £ on the capital value of nil rateable property in the Eastbourne Borongh District, such rates _ to be payable in one snm on July 31, The second resolution, moved and seconded by Councillors Foley and Organ respectively and adopted, read:-- ' "That, the council hereby makes an annual sanitary fee of 10s. on ench pan, such annual fee to be payable on July 31, 1900."
