Ritchie, who defeated tho then holdors, A. \V. Gore and H. Roper-Barrett), Gore , and : . RoperBarrett beat tho Australasian pair, Doust and Parker, 6—l, 6—2, 6-4. DAVIS CUP CONDITIONS.' The council of tee Lawn Tennis Assooiation discussed the Davis Cup proposals, and decided that- the committee of management should bo constituted in tho proportion of ono representing New Zealand and threo reprosontmg Australia; that tho next Davis Cup match bo played in Sydney, and thereafter in New Zealand; and that' all ohallengo ties thereafter played in Australasia shall be played twico in Australia and once in New Zealand. In the , evont of the determining of the agreement, any unexpended funds to be divided, two-thirds to go to tho Anstratian Association, and one-third to New Zealand.
