_Tho Waitangi Dairy Factory in West Clive, Hawkc s Bay, has had a very successful season. Thero aro eighteen suppliers, and tho butter is described bb tho finest in tho district. Tho soil round about Clivo is composed almost wholly of rich rivor silt, with a luxuriant growth of grass, and it'is Surprising that there aro not more dairy factories in tho locality.. The Waitangi Factory, which is owned by Mr. Lan Simson, has a very careful and methodical manager in Mr. C. H: Cleaver.
