Abraham and Williams report:—We hold a most successful sale.oij dairy cows for Mr. Stanford last week/There was a largo attendance of buyers from all over'the district, and every cow was sold at prices £o ss. to J£& 55., the whole herd of 29 averaging .£6 Is. Any cow showing .a strain of Jersey was eagerly competed for. . A nice i line of calves made 19s.j store pigs,, 155.; breeding sows, £i to £i 55.; horse, dray, and harness, .£33 ss. '
