REMAINS FOUND ON.A BEACH. Dunedlh, Juno 20. The remains of a body wore found on Tomahawk Beach, four miles from Dumetlin, on Saturday night. Tlie doctor who examined the body expresses the opinion that it is tJhat of a woman about 30 years of age. It is possible tho remains aro thoso of- Miss Meade, of South Duncdin, who disappeared in that locality last July","some of her clothing being found on.the hill. , THE PORANGAHAU FATALITY: ' (By Telegraph.-Special Correspondent.) At the inquest touching the death of tho late Mrs. Robson, who perished in a fire at Porangaliau, tlio verdict returned was thatdeccasod was burnt to death, but there was no pvidenoo to show, how tho fire originated. The jury also addod a rider oxpressmng dissatisfaction at the delay of tho Police Department in not sending a constable out sooner, it,being eighteen hours after the message was sent from Porangahau before the constable arrived.
