Speaking in 'French, tho Monarchs exchanged , hearty assurances of traditional friendship and mutual trust; tho Tsar remarking :— "This is a plodgo of good relations between the two countries and of genoral peace." BRITAIN.AND RUSSIA. KING'S ACTION WELL RECEIVED. St. Petersburg, Juno 18. Mnch gratification is expressed in St. Petersburg at tho announcement that King Edward received the members of tho Duma and tho Council of tho Empire who aro visiting England.
