As one who has lived in McJbourae a few years, I beg to bo allowed to state that the remark in reference to Collins Street is absolutely untrue. Every night that street.is swept and' hosed, and during the: day a gang of men with shovels and brooms are removing refuse, etc.,'from the gutters and road, and whether you drive or cycle through it iu tho morning everything isi clean and ; tidy.
