Dalgety and Company, Limited, roport having held their Upper Hutt sale yesterday, when a small yarding of sliecp and a I fair ono of cattle canio forward. There was good competition for all classes, and practically tho whole yarding, was disposed of at satisfactory prices. Sheep: Medium ewes in lamb, mixed ages, lis. 9d.; fat ewes, 10s. Gd. Hacks, J!5 10s. Mr. Newton King's weekly auction report, dated Juno 17, is as follows:—At Toko on lionday I held clearing sale on account - of Mr. C. Smith ami, despite the inclement weather, there was a big attendance of buyers from all parts. The cows otfered were in the pink of condition and, although there was a fair sprinkling of old cows, thi6 being the first sale of the season, prices realised were highly satisfactory.
