Gd. At Kangiwahia on Tuesday wo hail a fair yarding of sheep and a small" entry of cattle. All classes of sheep, especially lambs, met ivith keen competition, and u good sale resulted. Dalgety and Company, Limited, roport having held their Upper Hutt sale yesterday, when a small yarding of sliecp and a I fair ono of cattle canio forward. Smith ami, despite the inclement weather, there was a big attendance of buyers from all parts. The cows otfered were in the pink of condition and, although there was a fair sprinkling of old cows, thi6 being the first sale of the season, prices realised were highly satisfactory.
