A Russian torpedo boat fired a blank cartridge at tiko British steel screw cargo steamer Woodburn, 2360 toils grosa, Captain W. E. Rotortsm, whioh was bound from Frodenkshamn (on. the ooast of Finland) to Helsingforß, t&e Finnish capital,' Five seconds later two eSicllb were fired. Some of tho Woodburn's steam pipes were damaged and the bulwarks and the stoko-, lwld casing were holed. A .fireman named Boyno was badly wounded in the' leg, and waa sent to the Viborg Hospital. ■ • ' ' •• The Woodbnm had a pilot- aboard at the time.
