CHEERFUL.

Wherever I go just now (writes our travelling correspondent) there is .an abundance of grass. Farmers say they don't remember suoh a season for very many years. What frosts we hayo had so far have done no harm; grass is still growing; all grain crops are making wonderful growth; tV land is in splendid heart for ploughing and working; stock aro looking and'doing well.' In tact, tho outlook is most cheering. The one drawback is that oats and cnaff are so low in price, with little prospect of any material advancc. Of course, with so much grass feed, there is not tho demand for chair, and then thorc is very little demand up tho Main Trunk line' compared to other years. However, taking it all round, wo liavo not much cause to grumble.
