Thomas Halstead.an action for the possession of certain promises at Petono, and for ront, Mr. T. Young, representing the plaintiff, stated that possession had boon 'given sinco the issue of the writ, and he would move for judgment. His Honour entered judgment for the plaintiff for £30 ront, and £8 Bs. costs on tho middle scale. In tho divorce suit, George Henry Wood, jeweller, of Wellington, v. Ellen Lucretia Wood and James Quinn, labourer, Mr. P. J. O'Eegan moved to make absolute the decroe nisi granted by the Court. His Honour granted the decree as prayed.
