■ -Tho regular monthly meeting of Southern Cross Lbtlgo was.held at the Boulcott Street Hall on Thnrwlny. night. Thero was a good attendance,, and officers and members of Zcalnndin Lodge were cordially received. Nominations for officers for tho ensuing term, woro taken. Brother H. Finch was proposed for N.G., Bro. L. Bodloy for V.G., Bro. A. Bodley for R secretary, Bro. F. J. Evans secretary, and Bro. A. Loigh Hunt for treasurer. Tho holding of a joint installation of officers of Southern Cross and Zealandia Lodges was discussed and referred to the executive officers. Brother A. Loigh Hunt presented to tho lodge a frnmed photograph of the group of representatives at the recent Grand Lodge session. At the close of the meeting tho members adjourned to the supper room, a card tournament was held,'which resulted in a win for, Southern Cross. ■'<..•
