It is separated into'compartments, the chief being the-saloon' and the diningroom, and theto is,a_ bedroom to accommodate two, a luggaeeroom and two lavatories. . The compartments' are all finished/off yrith veneered rimu and P° l,shed Y/.'.The ceiling is of pressed steel, coloured white- and cream. : The' i urnishings' are to be of the most elaborate/design. There are comfortable lounge, chaire, a large settee, etc lhe car carries its'own dynamo for the generation, of electric light and to supply an. electrio : i?" ,£',??* service is, also 'provided. Generally, the fittings 'are .on-a:'more elaborate eoale than those of the car jpreviously used by the Governor, whioh was built £qr the Duke of Y( ! rk -. ~ e window; catches ■ are on a new prmoiple,, not in use in any other car. -Viewing the car in the workshops, it. presents an imposing spectacle, standing ' conspicuously among the , others suripunding it.
