ONGA PLOUGHING MEETING.
An enthusiastic meeting of residents of Onga, Hawke's Bay, was rcccntly hold in tbo lbcal Town Hall, for tho purpose of forming a Ploughing Association. It was decided to hold a match of various forms of ploughing early in July, A committee, consisting of Messrs. Beamish, B. Cochran®, H. Buchanan, lt. Waldron, Frank Glennv, \V Carswell, Walker,. and C. E. Fisher, was elected to carry out tho necessary arrangements, and numerous prizes woro donated by local supporters A capital { field was offered by Mr. H. Buchanan, right in the town, and was gratefully a'icepted,After next meeting, the programme, will be anand,, judging from present indications (says a correspondent) a very sUccessr rui day s sport is • anticipated.
