Of course,, nothing like tho '- whole of his fe.its can be produced in one month of nights Would scarcely exhaust his repertoire, This much endures, however-4ie varies his assortment of illusions. at nearly ovory performance,; so that it .is extremely;., improbable that any. one visiting the Opera' House during the season a .second, or -third timo, will seo the same tricks, performed as those witnessed on the occasion of the first visit. A fact .worth .mentioning, is that, none of his illusions is borrowed; they, are all the outcome of his own inventive ingenuity.... Another, feature which adds to'the .clean, rieat, and. attractive character of ; his act, is that it is unaccomSanied by patter of tho inano kind, or, ineed, any patter at ( all. Such patter rather mars than helps. ; THE ALFRED HILL CONCERT. : ; The first rehearsal of the orchestra that is ' to play .at the: Alfred-Hill concert to be held on June 23 was held at tho Dresden Rooms, undor Mr. Maughan Barnett, lasts evening.
