• REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. The weekly meeting of the , "Wellington Referees' Association was held last night, Mr. G. B. Lusk presiding over a good attendance of mombei's. A letter was received from Mr. W.G.TaI-. hot, 'secretary of tho Wellington Rugby Union, in reply to a letter regarding the conduct of spectators at lower Hutt on Saturday week, and stating that he had written to . tto Borough Council asking that some fencmg bo erected round the ground. A special committee was set ( .up to go into the case of J. Slincs,' who ordered a Victoria College player off the ground on Saturday ■ iveek.
