The Legislative Council of Cape Colony has adopted tie Act of Union. ' The Right Hon. Sir John Do Villiers, President of the Council and of the Federal Convention, announced that the High Commissioner,. Lord Selborno, had intimated that amendments benefiting South Africa might bo made in the.schedule . Durban, June 4. In accordance with the Act previously, passed, a referendum will be taken next week in Natal upon the question of the colony accepting the Constitution of the proposed South African Union.
