Prime Minister. Sir Joseph .Ward, may he enabled ■to accept the invitation to represent tho Dominion."
It was also resolved: "That this meeting desires to bonrtlv endorse tho patriotic a£ tion of Sir Joseph Ward in making an offer to the Imperial Government to provido a battleship of tho Dreadnought typo for. if need be,, two) as .tho gift of the people oi tho Dominion of Now.Kealaiid, and that this mooting realises that-the offer was made as an earnest proof, of the desire of New Zoaland to. holp the Motherland "• in time of need.'
