" , At the Gore Police Court to-day, five prosecutions, under tho Dentists Act, woro preferred against T. A. B. Wingfield, registered dentist, and W. T. Splatt. The prosecutors woro thn Otago Odontological Association. Wingheld was charged with pormitting Splatt, an unregistoied porson, to carry ' '' on practice in his name, and not undor his i immediate supervision, and, Wingfield and Splatt wero both charged ■ with that they - wero an ttssefciation carrying on practico, and not consisting wholly or registered dontists. Sjdatt alone was charged with performing certain dental operations, not being registered.' Splatt sot up business in Goro as an i "American painless dontal" concern, and an advertisement attached'the name oMVing- ' field, who is an InvercargiU registered dentist. The defenco stated that Splatt did this unknown' to Winglield, who subsequently rc- ' pudiated it, and had its altered.
