The visitors, although boaten, put up a splendid fight, th< local team gaining their victory through fast forward play, and good passing, combined with solid : defenpe on the part, of 'the baoks. Celtics have some very good players' in their ranks and, with a little mo;* practice togeth«r, they prove a-formidable team to beat. Ramblers had the best of the play, and won by 5 goals to nil. Goals were scored by Misses Easthope (2), Duggan, K. . O'Leary, and N. o'Leary. ;l'or the winners Hisses If. O'Leary, Easthope, N. ,o'lioary, O'Toole, and Kyle were til©' picJc, and for Celtics Misses Bradley, Lawlor, Fanior, Strickland,, and Murphy showed up conspicuously. A Press Association message from Masterton states that Masterton-W.F.C.A. hockey team beat Teohnioal School by 2 to nil.
