The bi-monthly meeting of the Wellington School ■ Commissioners was held yesterday, there being present: Mr. J. R. Blair . (chairman), and, Messrs. W. H, ITield, M.P., F.. T. Lethbridge, and James Maekenzi& r Apportionments of funds in respect to primary and secondary education were made as follow:— ' ' Primary education—Wellington Education Board; ,£191; Wanganui. Education - Board, fl06; total for primary education, .£3OO. '■ I Secondary education—Wellington : Boys' College, ,£39 7s. 7d;; . Wellington Girls' Hiirh School, .£2Q 16s', lid.; Wanganui Girls' High school,. ,421 2s. Id;'; Palmerston North Hieh School, ilB 13s. 5d.; total, .£3OO. • >; The chairman, reported that as the result .of the sale of lenses held by the Commissidners in • April last, ten allotments/ aggregating in area 6102 acres 1 rood 2 perches, had been leased to nine persons, at a total annual • rental of■£2os 16s. sd. \ It was resolved 'that 28 . loases/expiring 'on December 31 next, should be reoffered at rentals to bo determined by arbitration.
