Mr. Jnstico Williams congratulated tho jury on tho lightness of tho calendar, thoro being only ono criminal case. Edirard.William Fuller, aged 16, pleaded guilty to a charge of assaulting two girls of tho age of eight. He was sentenced to three months' imprisonment and to receive ten strokes of the "cat." : In a broach of promise case, Florence Efhel Kelly,-'who claimed £250, was awarded £70 damages. Defendant, a minor, - did not appear. . . ■■■-,- '■ ,: Auckland, Juno 1. , Nearly a score of divorce cases were dealt with by Mr. Justico Edwards in tho Supremo Court to-day. Decrees nisi were granted in the cases of Winifred Waters v. • William Waters, on the ground of desertion; Edward Rico v. Annie Rico and Oliver Sorenson (misconduct); Thos. Haugbton M'Boynolds v. Margaret M'Roynolds (misconduct);-Ellon B.aynor v.. Harold Raynor. (desertion);' Emma Ensor v. Charles Medley Ensor (crneltv and misconduct); Jano Eliza Brady v. Philip Brady (misconduct); Emma Maria Cattanach v. David Stewart Cattanach (desertion); Cathorino Mooney v. Janics Patrick Mooney (desertion); Lily Eva Neville v. Chmdo Clarenco. Novillo ' (desertion); Hilda > Gribblo v. Janics William Gribblo and Lucky Boatrice Brook (misconduct); Sydney Albert Grcenslado v. Marion Grcenslado (desertion); John Arthur Pickerel! v. Margaret- Pickcrcll and Nicholas Hogariess (misconduct); Thomasina Lisotto Sanderson v. Charles Sanderson (desertion).
