FREEZING WORKS SCHEME.
The "Inglewood Record" reports that the Kaimata branch' of the Farmers' Union has decided to pledge , itself to heartily support any movement', for the establishment of a second freezing works in Taranaki. It is understood . that preliminary Bteps are ; being taken'in . tho flotation of a company to establish works at Moturoa. Mr. C. A. 'Wilkinson, of Eltham, a member of tho Harbour Board, expresses tho^ opinion that'tho board should give one ofv its leaseholds near the harbour as a site for any such works, at a peppercorn rental. . :
