In the Divorce Court on' Saturday tho following casos were heard: —Chas. T. Gray petitioned for a dissolution of marriage '.with Emily Gray on tWground of misconduct With R. Koberstein. There was no appearance of respondent or co-respondcut. A decree nisi was granted, to bo mado absolute in three months, and costs were given against co-respondent on tho lowest scale. I'rank G. Mimo for a divorco from Martha Milne on the ground of _ misconduct with Francis S. Oldershaw. His Honour granted a decrcc nisi, to bo made absolute in three months, and cost? agaiast co-respondont on the lowest scale. A meeting of the members ■ of the local branch of the Dominion Scouts was held at tho Opera House on Friday night. A. long desultory discussion took place regarding, the prospects of the corps, and a committee comprising Messrs. L. Stansell, M'Carthy, Henley, Carpenter, Lowe, Weston, and Piko was appointed to canvass for. additional members and report at a meeting to' be held on Juno 2. ■ A farewell conversazione was tendered on Friday night by tho ex-pupils of the Kelvin Grove ana College Street Schools to Mr. and Mrs. Ales'Matheson, who are leaving shortly on their return to South 'Africa. The Empire Hall was tastefully deoo'rated by the oommifctoe, and a large number of guests, including tie teachers of all tho local schools and a number of leading citizens were present. Mr. D. Buick; M.P., made a farewell speech on behalf of the ox-pupils, in. which he alluded to the many excellent qualities of Mr. and Mrs. Ma.theson, and hoped that they would return to their wotlc in South' Africa carrying witli them-pleasant recollections of their holiday. Mr.,Matheson suitably responded. _ During the succeeding' porthe evening a dance, interspersed with I musical items, was given. Among the contributors to tho programme wero Mrs. Hall, Miss G.
