Messrs. Diilgcty nnd Company, Limited, report as follows:—At our fortnightly salo nt Dannevirko yesterday a good cutty of cattlo ■and a fair yarding of sheep were submitted to a large attendance of buyers. A complete clearance was effected at the following rates:—Forward two-tooth wethers, 11s. id. to 11s. Gd.; fat and forward ewes, 9s. 5d.; good, woolly lambs, 9s. Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. report on their Levin salo as follows:—Wβ yarded 1100 sheep and about 100 cattlo. Owing to high reserves, sheep did not sell readily at auction, but most lines changed hands before the close of the sale. Cattle sold readily, all lines changing hands.
