V,igor Brown, M.P., who has Just returned from-a visit to Ttellington, was asked his opinion tq-dayby a "Daily Telegraph" reporter regardmg the proposed visit of Sir! Joseph Ward to tno Naval Conference. Mr. Brown said: !T certainly think that Sir Joseph Ward should go Homo. Tbo Naval Conference is of national importance, and'if my opinion were asked I noUkl suggest that Mr. Mfißsey, as well as Sir Joseph Ward, should represent the Dominion. The question is one above party politics, and calls for the gravest, consideration, and in my opinion tho Dominion would not bo overdoing it, nor would any-harm bo done, by sending both Mr. Massoy and Sir Joseph Ward Homo." In reply to a further 3Uestion, Mr. Brown said he had not a sufficiently intimate knowledge of Parliament to warrant him expressing an opinion on the 'adjouurnment of the session. .-:.■■ .'..-■
