Dominion. ' Forty American boys aro now on their way to 'Wellington, via Tahiti, to fulfil their football engagements in Australia. In the five towns on the Main Trunk lino citizens havo promised a . warm welcome to tho young voyagers. At i Wellington tboy are to bo the guests of tho 1 r.M.O.A. boys, and a New Zealand flag ia to bo given to thorn at tho Seamen's Insti- • tuto by Mra. M. A.' Williams at a reception given to tho American footballers and boys of tho training ship Amokura. On Friday and 1 Saturday, Juno 18 and 19, oonccrts will be given by the brass band, of 40 pieces. Various outings aro being planned for tho lads after thoir reception by tho Mayor of Auckland (Mr. Gray). At Palmerston North her Excellency Lady Plunkot is to givo her patronage to ono'of the. boys! performances, and at Marton a well-known member of the Catholic clergy will refcreo in a baseball exhibition, match, at whieh the Mayor (Mr. E. Beckett) is to pitch the first ball.
