Messrs; Dalgety.and' Co., ltd., report:—At Wanganui ■ on May 19 2500 sheep and 160 ■ cattlo came forward,'and there was a good attendance of buyers. Competition' was not so .brisk as last salo, but prices wero fully maintained, according to quality. Vfa sold all the sheop with the exception nf one line. A line'of 1100 four and six-tooth store wethers made 10s. lid.; High reserTes hampered business with' cattle. At Waverley\wohnd a medium.yarding of 200 cat-' tie and Goo.\sheep.' Thero was a good attendance, but competition was quiet.
