(by xiiijaanrH — iricuL c niEipoNnENT) Auohland, May 25 ' The position of too various factories >n tho import classes of the butter and cheese section was as follows —Manawaru, 92 52 points; Thames Valley, 92 36, Matakana, yi 88, Cambridge, 918/, Fresh Food and Ice Company, 9185, Ambuiy, 'English and Co , 91 34 j Northern Wairoa, 91 32, Eureka, 9131, Waikikie, 9106, Bay of Islands, 90 87; TaUranga, 90 83, Okaria, 90 79, Opotiki 90 63, Oruru, 9U41, Yuipu, 90.40 Thames Valley Factory, which won tho Weddol Cup in 1907, lost it this jear by a , very narrow margin, but that factory has the satisfaction of tarrying off the Auckland championship gold medal and certificate for highest aggregate score of points in the Grading Points, Competition, and tho four factory classes in the export section, with a total of 368 points The Tauranga factory ■was runner-up with 365 points. Last timo Whitford Park factor} carried off the championship, which was then made on tho highest score in one class. One particularly instructive sample is thiit of different lots of red clover, grown fron seed sown 3t tho rato of 201b to the icro, and manured with different substances, showing the yield from the var- " lou* lots.
