WELLINGTON HARRIERS.
The Wellington Harriers Club's first run from Ngahaurapga was held on Saturday, and the course proved to be a yery good one. The paok, numbering twenty, was the smallest that Ihis year's captain (W. Press) hba led:. The trail was laid oy P. Harvey and V. Reynolds. It led across the hills to Skytown. where tho road was struck'nnd followed to the new corporation nbattoirs. Here the hares again took to the hille, and led straight across country for home. The "run in" tf about two hundred yards was won by C Turnbull, with E. S. Forne teoonrl, and F. Wilton third.
Considerable interest is'boinp; taken in the first rnco of tho Reason. Tho date fised for this event is June 5, and already several entries have been received. It is for novices; and will be rnn at Hutt Park over a distance of 2J miles! The run next Saturday will take place from Island Bay.
