AUCKLAND SHOW NEXT WEEK.
The Auckland show, with its projected six days run; will be the big event in tho northern city all next week, and is suro to be visited by farmers residing in parts of tho island remote. from Auckland, ;as well as by those from contiguous districts. The chief event-of interest to Weillngtoniahs will, in course, bo the big open butter contest, in which tho factories of Pihama, Bell Block South Canterbury, Midhirst, Norscwood' Bunnytliorpe, Levin, and Kia Ora are taking part. i ■ThcV Department of Agriculture will make a good display of instructive exhibits, and it is expected that, in addition to Mr. Clifton ■Mr Kirk Mr. Cuddie, and Mr. Singleton '.(who- will bo m attendance for official duties) the Minister himself will visit the show.
