Tbb sevonth annual report of the Feilding A. and P. Association says:—The financial position, of the association is satisfactory. Assets ;show. £1000 over liabilities 'after making due allowance for depreciation of per;, manent improvements - and plant, and there is a, credit balance at tfho bank of £402 10s.2d., allowing for. unpresonted cheques. Your' committee is of opinion that, the time, has arrived when, in tho interests of the association, the annual subscription should .be raised to £1, and a notice of motion to that effect , , ,unanimously supported' by members of your 'committee, will bo-considered at the annual meeting. , The balance-sheet shows that the subscriptions for 1908-9 were £307r25. 6d.j;and tho donations £430 12s. 6d. Entry fees brought .in a suih'of£277 25., gates.£lsl,and lawii £40! 133..-, (Guessing competitions! ■brought £17 155.,- and sale of catalogues £22 Os. ;7d; ■ The,,total receipts were £1771 18s. lOd. On the expenditure side, printing,and .advertising cost, £143 13s:' lldl, permanont improvements £37:'35. ,, Bd. : , prizes' £652 14s; At the Vsgittning of. the year the credit balance stood at £291 6s'.' 1d. ; ,, and' at the end; of the year it had increased to £402 10s. 2d..'
