The Artillery Officers'•, Club, which last year covered a lot of valuable ground in the study of'tactics and other topics ro,la.ting to defence, .'has. already commenced its winter session, the»oponmg might having been/held last'week'. A comprehensive syllabus has been arranged, a feature of which ■is division of , each evening into three, periods, for the study of separato subjects. On each evening tho military aspects of some important and and lessons to be drawn therefrom, will be discussed.
