V OPERA HOUSE. : "The Little Breadwinner" was staged for the second and last timo by tho Meynell and Gunn Dramatic Company at tho Opera House on Saturday evening. "The Stepmother," a powerful drama from the pen of that clevor author Arthur Shirley, will be the attraction at the Opera House to-night and to-morrow night, the closing night of the Mcynoll and Gurin season. Tho full strength of. the company will be played in the cast, which is as follows:—Hiss Beatrice Holloway, as Danny; Miss Lillian Meyers, as Anna Victors; Mr. J. B. Atholwood, as Abraham Wiggins; Mr. 0. R. Stanford, as Luke Trixell: and the Misses Alice Deorwyn, as Johanna Jones, and Mabel Russell as Mrs. Bristowe. I ' " ■. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. Tlie programme of animated pictures at His' Majesty's Theatre proved to be a strong attraction,on Saturday night, the star film, "The Grand National of 1909," being a most popular foature... Tho film is an exceptionally fin© ono, and_ great credit is due to the rtanagement for its enterprise in securing such a veritable triumph in kinematography. The other pictures were well up to the standard of• the programmes preparer! for the delectation of the;pnblic at His Majesty's, and.the. current series should.have a successful run. ; 'T' THEATRE ROYAL. \': ■. ■] ,The enthusiastic audience which assembled on Saturday night to see the usual weekly change of Messrs.
