During the resumed debnto in the Chamber of Deputies on the attitude of the postal employees, tho Socialists began singing the revolutionary air, "Internationale," . beginning: "Doboutl les damnes de la terro," A great uproar ensued. The Republicans raised the "Marseillaise," and the Royalists sang "La Vendenne." The.President of the Chamber. (M. Brisson) adjourned the sitting at 4 o'clock. Otherwise the debate was uneventful. The Minister for Public Works, M. Barthou, stated that, out of 24,115 postal employees, 2367 woro now on strike. The Premier, M. Clemenceau, called on the Chamber to choose the regimo of the Republicans and respect for the law 'on the ono hand, and, on the other, tho disorganisation of the Republic. A vote of confidence in the Government was carried by 365 votes to 159. A HUNDRED EMPLOYEES DISMISSED. Paris, May 13. A hundred postal employees wero dismissed in Paris to-day. M. Clemenceau, the Premier, is confident that the movement will collapeo.
