Mr. George, an ox-Preiident of the Board, who was chosen as a delegate to the Sydney Conference, has since resigned, on the ground that the resolution is ill-considered, and is at variance with the .national trade policy of Canada. A special meeting'of the Board will be held next week to reconsider the resolution.
