■ AUSTRALIAN ATTITUDE. THE EXISTING VANCOUVER SERVICE. (DX TBLEUBAPII—FItESS ASSOCIATION —COPVRIQIiT.) . Melbourne, May 12. The Postmaster-General, Mr. J. Thomas, has received a cable mossago from Canada, asking if the Commonwealth is Willing to ronew the existing Vancouver mail contract for another year. Mr. Thomas desires to obtain somo improvement in the service'if- the contract'is renewed for a year only. The whole matter, ho says, is involved in the greater "AllRed" scheme, and although the existing Vancouver contract will probably bo renewed for the ensuing year, arrangements hoyond that time aro likely to form part of a comprehensive "All-Rid" scheme. . '
